 Samadhaan - Hope for Education

A group of people is lighting the light of hope in Jharia which is burning by underground Coal, life of Jharia People is on fire and runs on rehabilitation packages.

Samadhaan is the group of around 70 youngsters, including professionals, teachers and students who are organising tuition classes in open parks for Jharia children from socio-economically backward groups.

Samadhaan is a society operating for promoting education to backward people. There are many professionals from all over India, and local youth from Jharia who are supporting the group.

Volunteers of Samadhaan provide the tuitions free of cost to students from Class I to undergraduate level. They conduct classed for students who are preparing for Government Jobs and banking etc.

Chandan Singh aged 28 from Manbaad Jharia who leads the group here, said they had started the Samadhaan around two years ago with only 10 people and now there are 70 people.

Objective of Samadhaan

The sole objective of this organisation is to provide education to the underprivileged and downtrodden children.
