Youth Concept, an NGO, Katras More Jharia has organized an event tribute to Mohammad Rafi, Padma Shree Awarded with the collaboration with BCCL, Geetanjali Heights, Sharda Sangit Bharti. Sri Satish Chandra, State Disability commissioner, Jharkhand was the chief guest. Sri B.K. Panda, Retd, Director(P), BCCL was the special guest.

There are many BCCL employees, Divyang Kids, professional singers of Sharda Sangit Bharti had performed and won the people's love. Youth Concept is doing good for divyang kids in rural areas.

Hello Friend, I have met a very nice personality Akhlaque Ahmed today, I did not know him personally. One of my friend introduced today with him. He knows him by childhood. It is very nice to see him face-2-face. I read about him in Prabhat Khabar Website regarding the news about Blood Donation with my friend Raunak Keshri. Today I met personally. He is very inspiring and motivation for others. He educate the kids and people with disabilities and work for poors. Here is the Interview with Akhlaque Ahmed.

Interview with Famous Akhlaque Ahmed Social Worker Jharia

Here is the news paper cutting about Akhlaque. He has started donating blood since 2005 and keep donating his blood to poor peoples.

Akhlaque has done lot of social welfare for poors, till date he has donated blood to more than 30 people. When I asked about social welfare activities, he told me that he teaches many disabilities kids and teach language. Here is the photos shared by him:

His story is really inspiring for us. He gives education disabled child and keep arrange competitions among them. He is from "Samawesi Teacher Association" in Jharia and time to time arrange such events for disabled kids. It feels like God has sent him for such kids welfare.

You will be wondered to see this activities done by my Friend, he and his team(around 20 poor and jobless people) has been sweeping daily 4 AM to 8 AM in the morning from Koiribandh to SabjiPatti Jharia. He had started this 'Swachh Abhiyaan' from Diwali 2015 and keep doing the same on daily basis under his NGO Parivartan and he is performing the same with full of passion.  Let see some snaps of him and his team sweeping from Koiribandh to SabjiPatti Jharia.

Even his mom and other family members are also donating their blood for poor people and needy people. We should be very proud feeling about him, because he is the one who is from our society not anywhere else. We should participate in such camps to help needy people.  About Children Park Jharia

Children Park is the oldest park and a heritage of Jharia. It is located in the center of Jharia, there are many places near this park like Usha Talkies, Oldest Kali Mandir Poddar Para Jharia, Oldest Radhe Krishna Temple, Agarwal Dharamshala etc.

It is the oldest park of Jharia where many popular politician came for their election's meetings. I remembered in my memory when I saw Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he was giving lectures in Children Park Jharia.

Now a days, it has become the education center for the poor kids. Samadhan is the Non-profit organization which has been working good towards poor kid's education.

Damien Social Welfare Centre(DSWC) is the great institutions for leprosy care services in the Jharkhand state named Nirmala Referral Hospital For Leprosy. Damien society has started working for leprosy activities in 1964.

I personally visited the place. I will the tell you the short story which I faced. I found one unknown person in Randhir Verma Chowk. He was telling his name 'Ganesh'. He was looking so dirty and his leg has big wound affected with worms. Check out the full story here.

I am shocked to see newspaper today. It said that dhanbad is the Most Dirtiest City in Swachh Bharat Survey. In Swachh Bharat Survey, Masoor is the most cleaned city and Dhanbad is the most dirtiest city. See this news in Prabhat Khabar:

We are so ashamed of it to see the newspaper. I am not here to blame our Government and Dhanbad Municipal Corporation and other people. I will blame myself for this. If everybody start thinking about this, they will come to know that we all are responsible for that. Suppose that, you said, you are not responsible. You have not polluted the city. But if you are cleaning your home and you daily see your polluted city and not taking any action. Then you are also responsible for that. why am I writing here at Jharia.in? There is a reason behind it. Here in Dhanbad-Jharia, Coal dust would be the most responsible reason for this dirtiness.

Thank You so much sir for this support. We will clean Dhanbad as soon as possible. I would like to say something more on CORRUPTION. It is like 'Dimak'(termites) which is eating all important Government Papers and Funds. First of all we have to remove this from all Government Offices and its areas. It is the most dangerous for this Abhiyan. It will not allow us to clean Dhanbad. We have to clean all Government Organizations, Install CCTV everywhere, so that people could not give any bribe or any staff could not take any bribe. We have to end paper work and make them all online.

Dukhharni Dham is very popular and oldest Ma Durga Temple in Jharia which is located in Jharia-Dhanbad Road. Thousand of peoples come daily to see Ma Durga and worship. This temple is also popular for marriages.

According to Maharajkumari Snehalata kumari Devi(Daughter in law of Late Raja kali prasad Singh and wife Of Rajkunwar Bishweshwar prasad singh):

Dukhharni mandir was setup in 18th century by my forefather Raja Sangram Singh to sought out his problems. Before it was dense forest and considered dangerous. People used to feel scard of ghost and spirits while passing that road to nearby village. There are many stories of people, even I have heard one or two stories. That is why this temple
was setup by Raja Sangram Singh. Maa Dukhharni always protected the travelers and people felt safe to travel.

Today I am going to share about one person who has been doing great work towards environment of Jharia and its surrounding areas through plantation. There are many news, I read in news papers about Jharia and become very disappointed to know various issues of Jharia like Electricity issue, Pollution, bad situation of coal mining areas, Water crisis etc. I found one page news about Jharia and its surrounding areas in Dainik Jagran, Prabhat Khabar, Hindustan etc. And in English Newspaper, we rarely found news from Jharia.

I have made Jharia.in to collect news of Hopes of Jharia. Such news from which we can get hopes of new Jharia. If all problems of Jharia would have been resolved, then How Jharia would look like that time?

Problems are not problems, its challenge for us. We have to awake ourselves to get these challenges. I was talking about news from Hopes in Jharia region. Lets take example, Jharia  Samadhaan, Green Life Jharia, Jharia Marwari Yuva Manch etc.

I have already written about Samadhaan and Marwari Yuva Manch(working great towards society). Today, I am going to share about Green Life Jharia and its founder Dr. Manoj Singh who has been working since long towards Jharia and its environment. Akhlaque Ahmed is also working with him in his plantation program. His plantation program is taking our society in good way. He is very active in his work.  Horladih Chimni Baba Jharia

Chimni baba Jharia is the oldest dargah in Horladih region. This is famous with the name of "Baba ka Dargah" and also called chimni shah baba horladih.

My Friend lives there and he said that first of all BCCL gives Chadar to Dargah Baba in Mazar Mela. This is some old tradition.

Location : 200 mtrs away from Bhaga Railway Station and around 20 K.m. away from Dhanbad Station.

Every year, there is a mela celebration called Mazar Mela. There is a big crowd every year in horladih. This is one of the oldest Mosque in Jharia Region.
